Dillon - Adoption pending's Story...
Hi my name is Dillon. I’m living in a foster home in Tucson right now. I am a big cuddly boy. It is too bad I’m not a little smaller because I would really like to sit on my person’s lap! I love soft beds, soft toys, and soft rugs to scratch my back on. I want to be with a person ALL the time, I don’t even like to hang out in the backyard by myself for a few minutes.
Even though I want one person to be my own, I like people in general. I will go up to people so they can pet me and if they do, I might try to sneak into their lap. What I don’t like is other dogs, they make me nervous. On walks if I see a dog, I will bark and get very upset. I have learned to get along with my foster person's little dog, but she had to help me learn how to respect her. So I would really like to find a person who has owned a cattle dog before or has experience with dogs like me.
I am not sure what I think of cats. I might want to chase them. So far I really want to chase the chickens that live here. It would be fun!
I would make someone a wonderful, loving companion. I am very eager to please and have already learned some tricks. If you want to learn more about me, please feel free to contact New Hope to talk with my foster person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dillon - Adoption pending, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
