Cooper, fka Conry, is a 3 year old family ready Labradoodle. He will thrive in your family, with children 8 or older and with another sociable dog to help him become even more confident and sure of himself. As you can see from his GRFR photos, Cooper is quite handsome with a shiny, soft coat and a million dollar smile.
Before GRFR stepped up, life was not so good for Cooper. He did not have a real home, a family to love him, his own bed to sleep on, or doggy toys either. Cooper loves Colorado and the good life. He rides well in the car and loves to hike and take nice long leash walks with you too. He walks very nicely on leash. Cooper is fine in his crate when you are out and about and cannot bring him along. "Please come back soon!" He is working on his basic commands and is close to taking treats from his devoted foster parents' hands without fear. "This is all new to me. Thank you for understanding and being so patient and kind."
Cooper is "very, very good" with all three of the kitties in his foster family. He and Onyx, their 11 year-old kitty, went nose-to-nose when introduced and both were great. Cooper absolutely loves other dogs and plays gently. He loves a good session of tug-of-war with his foster sister dog Desi, a tug champion. He also loves to steal toys from his foster brother Zeke, a mellow Lab.
