Jewely's Story...
Sweet Jewely was left behind in an apartment when her owner moved to Florida. She had no food or water. She managed to stay alive by drinking from the toilet bowl. The janitor for the apartment complex found her after about 3 weeks. She was thin, but still ready to purr and forget how cruel life can be. She is estimated to be about 10 years old and wants nothing more than to love and be loved by her human companions.

Jewely is now safe in a Stray Cat Blues foster home, but eagerly awaiting a forever home where she will not have to worry about being abandoned ever again.

Jewely is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jewely, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
