POSTED 6/19/2011:
"Hi! My name is Dancer, and I am a purebred white Turkish Angora cat that is seeking a new home because I do not get the attention that I need now that both my parents are working. I get along well with cat-friendly dogs (even big ones) and I like cats as long as they don't take human attention away from me for very long. I am very people-oriented, LOVE to sit on laps, and will be the first to greet you at the door when you come home from work. I also love to sleep with you, and am very good at sharing a bed (I will even take the edge of it to give you room). I never use my claws with people, although I use them when I play, and even at six years old, true to my breed, I still act like a kitten. I would make a great cat for you if you have the time to give me affection.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dancer, a Putnam Hall Turkish Angora cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Angora for sale in Putnam Hall, or seeking a Turkish Angora cat from a breeder in Putnam Hall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Putnam Hall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Putnam Hall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Angora breeders who help with Turkish Angora rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Putnam Hall paves the way for another one to be saved.
