Wild Thing's Story...
Wild Thing is a Paso cross who was born in 2003, and he is 12.3H tall. Wild Thing is halter broke, and he can be longed in both directions with a saddle and bridle. He can be fly sprayed and bathed, and he stands nicely for the farrier. Wild Thing is broke to ride. He is being ridden at a walk, trot, and canter, and he has even been started over fences!
Don’t let Wild Thing’s name fool you. When he was first rescued with 64 ponies from a neglect situation in Lewisville, Texas, he was one of the more difficult ponies to work with. Since then he has learned to trust people, and he has become a great family pony. He is no longer a “wild thing!” He likes attention, and he enjoys being ridden. He is sweet with people and follows them around like a big dog. Wild Thing is located in Sugar Land, Texas, and his adoption fee is $500.
Wild Thing is just one of the ponies that are available for adoption. Most of these ponies have great dispositions and will make great children's ponies once trained under saddle.
