Another Saturday night and I ain’t got nobody,
I’ve got some money ‘cause I just got paid.
How I wish I had someone to talk to,
I’m in an awful way…

If you are looking for someone to talk to and hang out with, then I'm your buddy! I'm Saturday, a black lab/hound mix - Daddy was a full bred Lab and my momma can from a diverse background of hound mix...
I am approx. 6 months old, weigh about 35-40 lbs., up to date on vaccines, neutered, and ready for my furever home!!!
I am a very handsome fella, whose favorite things include playing with other dogs, long walks, and hanging out w/ people. I like to please and if you are willing to give me some attention - I'll show you what a great friend I can be.... You'll never again have to wish you someone to talk to...
So, remember to arrange to meet me, contact my foster mom, Debbie at either janrose@swva.net or floydhumane@gmail.com. You can also leave a message for Debbie at 540-745-7207.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Saturday, a Floyd Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Floyd, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Floyd.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Floyd already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Floyd breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Floyd paves the way for another one to be saved.
