Charlie's Story...
Charlie is a 2 yr. old, 15 lbs chocolate male purebred (AKC registered) miniature Poodle. See the before and after photos.
He had a rough start in life, but has rebounded with new hope since living with his foster Mom. Charlie is learning to trust people and is very sensitive and very sweet. He absolutely loves attention and affection. He enjoys laying next to you or even being held. He is great with getting a bath too. Because of Charlie's history of being abused by children, it is best that he not be placed in a household with children as he is afraid of them. Charlie needs a very loving and patient new forever family. Good with other dogs and friendly indoor cats. Charlie has good energy and loves to play and go for walks.
He is healthy, neutered, current on all vaccines and microchipped.
Adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not adopt any of our dogs to households with children under 10 years old.
An adoption application must be filled out PRIOR to anyone meeting any of our dogs.
To receive an application Contact Death Row Dogs Rescue at deathrowdogsrescue@earthlink.net or (818) 380-1219

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Van Nuys Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Van Nuys, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Van Nuys.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Van Nuys already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Van Nuys breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Van Nuys paves the way for another one to be saved.
