Jasmine's Story...
Hi there, my name is Jasmine and I am looking for a home. I came to VPAS as a stray and I my family didn't ever come to pick me up, so now I am looking for a new family to love me and to look after me. I have a very sweet disposition and I am very affectionate. During my time at VPAS I have been pretty indifferent to the other cats that I've met and I have not had any contact with dogs. The vets say that I appear healthy and I am probably about 2-3 years old. I have been spayed and I have just had my first set of shots so I will be due for a booster in a few weeks. If you would like to learn more about me please contact VPAS or come down to Petsmart and say hello.
***"Jasmine" is currently for adoption at PetSmart in Langford (Millstream Rd. across from Costco.) If you would like to meet her, please visit her there***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasmine, a Saanichton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
