Simon's Story...
These 5 little guys were brought into the kill shelter, when they were five weeks old and left with their mother, who is a cairn terrier, who weighs twelve lbs. These little guys were saved my a very nice lady, who is taking care of them, to they can find their own forever homes. They are so fun to watch, you will really enjoy having one of these little guys as one of your own. They will be ready to come to their new homes on July 2nd. They are too young to neutered, but when they are 6 months old, and you have them, fixed you will get a 50.00 rebate. (POM-GERRI)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simon, a Harrisonburg Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
