My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We will now begin to review applicants for adopters BY E-MAIL ONLY.

Nilla (short for Vanilla) Bean is a momma dog who was found stray and who had just given birth to five puppies under a hedge. Nilla is a medium-sized dog, with a docked tail, who weighs about 30 lbs but has the appearance of a mini yellow Lab. All five pups survived and appear to be healthy, and all five pups were born with a docked tail. Therefore, we believe the pups to be Australian Shepherd mixed with either Yellow Lab or Queensland Heeler, or both. The puppies were born on or close to May 2, 2011. They are all very smart and very playful. There is one female and one male left from the 5 pup litter. Each has a unique personality but all are very approachable, loving and cuddly. They stay all together in a small bathroom at night and will yip in the early AM when they need to go poop. Most likely, each will be a quick learner when it comes to crate-training. They are extremely cute and make their foster mom laugh daily. Upon approval of the app, a meet and greet will be arranged for whomever is remaining in the group. If interested, please contact Janet Cook of the Angel’s Heart Dog Rescue at: adopt@angelsheartdogrescue.com. You may also visit our public website at: http://www.angelsheartdogrescue.com. Go to the Adoption Tab to read about the adoption process. The adoption fee is: $300 plus an additional $50 as a spay/neuter deposit (total $350). In addition to the Adoption Contract, there will also be a spay/neuter contract and follow up will be strictly enforced. Once the dog becomes altered, the $50 will be reimbursed to the adopter. We can also refer you to the vets that work in conjunction with our rescue for a lowered spay/neuter cost.
