My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Albert loved to hunt. It was the only joy this distinguished 5 year old had known his entire life. When Albert was not hunting, he was kept in a small outdoor pen.

One day Albert was taken to an auction. Hunting Beagles were being sold to the highest bidder. Those who were not sold were to be shot.

Dedicated volunteers rescued Albert and now he is ready to learn what it means to have a family, a home and love. Albert is very sweet and mellow and would easily adapt to indoor living. Hunting dogs are generally quiet in the house and friendly to people. They make dedicated companions.
