DUCKY's Story...
DUCKY use to be called Lucky, when she came to the Shelter...the reason being, that her gorgeous golden eyes got the dog warden to give her a Big break...also she came pregnant and Lucky Ducky, got her have her pups and be in line for a wonderful forever home....sometimes getting knocked up has its benefits.
Anyway, she has raised her children and the time has finally come for her to find a Perfect Holiday home~
Ducky is probably about 3 years old, Loves to go exploring, is great in the house and wonderful with other dogs...especially the boys, as she tends to mesmerize them with her golden eyes. Ducky is a great little girl...sort of a 'low rider and inconspicuous, but absolutely LOVES to cuddle in bed and be adored! Ducky is housetrained, walks like a lady, on a leash, knows basic commands and is very courtous and kind. She is too short to go counter surfing or get in trash, not that she would ever even think of it! Ducky would be a great companion for a family with kids, as she really loves the little people.
Ducky is Perfect in every way and deserves just the best life has to offer...we all do!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DUCKY, a McArthur Corgi/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Basset Hound for sale in McArthur, or seeking a Corgi/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in McArthur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McArthur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McArthur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Basset Hound breeders who help with Corgi/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McArthur paves the way for another one to be saved.
