UPDATED BIO 07/13/2011: Princess is a sweet 8 year old 6.5 lb "Princess" who is being fostered in Largo, FL. Princess wanted to give you an update about what we learned in the last couple of weeks about her.
She is a very docile, sweet, complex little girl. She is doing great with house training and much prefers to be taken out for several walks during the day, as opposed to going outside. This does make her an excellent candidate for condo or mobile home living. She does like having other dogs in the house, but is not a requirement. She is perfectly happy if it is just her mom, or mom and dad and her. She does like older children, but only for periods at a time, will go off by herself if children in the house for longer periods of time.
Princess would love to go with you where ever you go, doesn't like being left alone a lot. She is also learning to wrestle with you some, but not a big toy player. She does love her beds, especially if they are in a place where she can hide, like maybe under a bed, or where she has a quilt hanging over her. She likes sitting next to you and sleep, but will also go off to her bed if she has one in the same room you are hanging out in. She is also giving kisses and likes to be held for short periods at a time. As we stated, she is a very complex little girl, who is slowly coming out of her shell and learning to love. FM said she is probably one of the gentlest little souls she has ever had the honor of taking care of.
Princess said now that we know a little more about me, I know you want to take me home!!!
INITIAL BIO: Princess is an 8-9 year old 9 lb little ..... well.... "princess" :) who is being fostered in Largo, FL. She had this to say:
"Princess is my name, but not quite my appearance - not yet. I am currently in the Tampa Bay area, they think I am between 8-9 years old and weigh approximately 9 lbs at this time. I was surrendered by my family to the pound due to medical reasons (we think). You see yesterday, I was at the DOGter's and am now stitches from head to tail. I had a mammorary tumor removed from my chest, I had a spay and had another growth removed from my tail.
Foster mom said I am being extremely good for everything I have gone through in 2 days including the trip from south Florida to the Largo area. So far (this changes as we start to relax in our foster homes, hehe) I am very quiet and very docile. None of my furbrothers and fursisters are threatened by me at all. I spent a quiet night in the crate and only had one accident inside the house, which is to be expected with new environments. Foster mom said to tell you, once my stitches heal we can be groomed and she thinks I am going to be BEAUTIFUL!.... well, even more so I told her. So be sure to check back often as I heal xoxoxox"
