Kaylin's Story...
Kaylin is my name, and what a pretty name at that! I was picked up as a stray at a local animal shelter. I must have been out there a long, long time, as I am super skinny. Right now food is my favorite thing. My D.O.B. is 5/01/09. They tell me I am about the sweetest German Shepherd Dog they have ever met. I love to be petted and I will also give little kisses in return. I'm not sure how I got to Mackenzie's but I am glad I got here. I get three great meals a day until I fatten up. So far I like all the new people I have met, and would love to someday find my forever home. I will definately need a large yard to run and sniff in. I would definately benefit from a basic obedience class and a family with the time to teach me new things. I could use some work on my manners and my walking on lead. I know with time all of that will come, and I am excited to learn!

For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaylin, a Lake Odessa German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
