Allison's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Allison's Story...
Allison is an irresistible and very sweet two-year-old, ten-pound, white female Shih Tzu who is good on leash and well-behaved in the car. She appears to be housebroken and crate-trained, and good with most dogs. Allison is very lovable and likes being a lap dog. There are some dogs she just doesn’t like, and with them, she can be nippy. All the dogs are well-groomed, neutered/spayed, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccines, de-wormed, and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt any of these dogs please contact Gloria at or 773-907-0305. Their adoption fee of $150 each benefits the Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Allison, a Chicago Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
