My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hercules is an adorable 8 month old Golden Retriever mix. He has a beautiful medium gold, very soft and wavy coat with white feathers on his back legs and white tips on his feet. A handsome fellow!

His foster family reports: Don't let his big Greek god name fool you. Hercules is the GRFR god of snuggling, cuddling and sharing sweet young dog kisses. He looks at you with big dark eyes and perked ears that capture the wonder of youth as if to say, "What are we going to do next?"

Hercules is a well mannered puppy. He is house trained and gives you clues when it is time to go outside. He would love to go to school with his forever family to learn the important lessons of a grown up dog. In the meantime he will sit for cookies, or with gentle coaxing, and is good on a slip lead leash walking after some initial correction. "There is so much to see and it is all ahead of us!" Hercules gets along well with his foster brothers, even the crabby Lab. He passed his cat-test too. After his morning walk and breakfast, Herc plops down for a good nap. He slept thru the thunderstorm the first night here at his new foster home. Herc is learning how much fun it is to play with dog toys, balls and chews. We will miss him but he is ready to find is forever home.
