Clancy's Story...
My story: Clancy & his siblings were abandoned and then rescued at about 3 weeks old. He was bottle fed until old enough to be weaned. He is very much a kitten; very curious, playful & loving. Everything can be a toy to him. He has grown up with a doggy friend and loves to play with her tail. He also likes to sit by the aquarium and watch the fish and paw the glass. He loves his toys, kitty siblings and his humans. He likes to be near you when he is napping, when he hears you calling he comes running. He has free access to eat dry food when he wishes--he does like a spoonful of wet food mixed in his regular food at dinner as a treat. He will be a great addition to his new family!.

Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Yes | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clancy, a Tampa Abyssinian kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Abyssinian kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
