Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Disposition: Independent, active
Natasha is a determined little girl who likes to bat toys around, climb onto the daybed then onto the bat window, hop into the basket, and run to her food bowl when you open a cat of food. And she is blind. Natasha has no eyes; they never formed when she was a tiny baby. But she knows how to map out her environment with her nose, her ears, and her great sense of touch. She has been in three living spaces since she was born and she has learned to maneuver very well in each of them in a very brief amount of time.
This little girl had a horrible start in life. Probably born just before being taken to the city shelter, she and her siblings were left alone, encrusted in debris on their faces and over their eyes. They were about to be euthanized so the staff did nothing to make them comfortable. It was this neglect that changed her life and left her blind -- a special needs kitty.
Another rescue group discovered this little family in a city shelter and asked if we could take them in. The mommy is a beautiful flame point Siamese who truly adores her babies. We are asking that Natasha be adopted with her mommy or one of her siblings. We are also asking that she be adopted by a very stable home with no small children and little likelihood of moving.
