Peaches's Story...
Peaches was a very hungry little girl when she came to CP. She had 6 kittens, and no one to feed or take care of her or her babies. She still likes to eat a lot (which is a good thing as we want her to put on a little weight). She has clearly been around people as she is very friendly, affectionate, playful and loves being petted. She gets along with other cats, she is healthy, and a real joy to be around. Peaches was born approximately January 2010.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Pasadena Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Pasadena, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Pasadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pasadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pasadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pasadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
