Wendy's Story...
Buenos Dias, me llamo is Wendy! My sister, Luna, and I were lucky enough to be brought here from our native home of Puerto Rico. We are part of the program called 'Save a Sato' and are thrilled to be in a home and not scrounging through trash on the streets and fighting day and night to stay alive. It was a horribly hard life and even though we are only in a temporary foster home, it sure is great to have a warm, dry bed to sleep in and two good, healthy meals a day. Dogs here sure have a great life!! Would you be willing to give us a permanent home so we never have toworry again?Wendy and Luna are both about three years old and are very sweet girls with lots of love and energy to share. If they can't be adopted together, it would be best for them to have at least one other canine companion. They are very active, energetic girls and should be in an active home where they will get the exercise and activity level they need.Wendy's Adoption Donation is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Rochester Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
