Nelson's Story...

Nelson is a senior terrier mix, neutered male.

Nelson was at an animal control facility for quite some time. No one ever came to claim him and his time was up. P.A.W.S. does rescue senior dogs and this was his last chance of hope. He looks to be over 10 years of age. He shows no signs of being old. He is still full of life and does well with other dogs and cats. He would like to be part of someone’s family. For every senior dog adopted, you will give us the chance to rescue another senior animal. Please consider adopting Nelson.

All our dogs and puppies are micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, vet checked, and are UTD on all age appropriate shots. They also come with a 30 day free health insurance. Please email us for an adoption application. Thank You!

Pixie's Animal Rescue is run by volunteers. We do not have a facility, so all of our animals are in foster homes. Please give us time to respond to your email. Thank You!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nelson, a Brighton Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Brighton, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Brighton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brighton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brighton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brighton paves the way for another one to be saved.
