Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! I'm Chet. I'm around a year old. I was dumped on a country road and happened to wander up the right driveway, where the folks at the rescue took me in! I've spent most of my life here at the rescue, and I'd really love to come home and bond with you and your family while I'm still young.
I love to play with other dogs and would run and romp all day long if I could! I am very smart and listen well. I'd make you a great pet, and an even better one with some formal training. I love to carry toys in my mouth. Maybe you could train me to do tricks, or even search-and-rescue? I only want your love and attention. Please come and meet me sometime soon!
UPDATE: Chet just came back to the rescue after some time in a foster home; one of the dogs that lived in the foster home decided he did not like Chet, so he had to return. His foster mom reports that he learned how to live in the house and loves getting attention. He is very playful and until the other dog took a dislike to him, he got along well with her dogs. She also says that he enjoys being outside and LOVES water; he likes to go swimming and play in their wading pool! He is now back at the rescue and he misses being in a home very much. Could you find it in your heart to open up YOUR home to this loving guy?
