Brownie's Story...
This is an assisted placement! For more information or to adopt this dog, please contact Jim or Pat at 405-375-3998.

I was abandoned and found wandering around a farm. Some nice people took me in but they say they can't keep me since I'm so young and lively but they aren't as young and as spry as they used to be and can't keep up with me. So they want to find me a good home. I'm good with people, children and other animals. I'm already neutered and they think I'm only a year or two old. Can you please let me come to your home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a Newcastle Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Newcastle, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Newcastle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newcastle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newcastle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newcastle paves the way for another one to be saved.
