Pinky's Story...
I was found lost in the middle of the road but I know a good car door when it opens! And I have never regretted it. I know how to use a doggie door and am very housebroken. I have a lot of energy when you want me to, but basically I am a lapdog and want to be touching you all the time. My favorite place in the whole world is under the covers down by your legs keeping you warm all night long. I am just a little girl and I get along with all the dogs here and love love love food (I think I would be fat if they let me! HA). They say I am too smart for my own good and that they can't help but love me... neither could you! Come see me!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pinky, a Newcastle Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier for sale in Newcastle, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Newcastle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newcastle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newcastle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newcastle paves the way for another one to be saved.
