Oliver's Story...
Please meet Oliver!! Oliver has known love – he has known childish hugs and giggles. But Oliver has also known real heartbreak. You see, Oliver’s child got very, very sick – and his family had to make some really hard choices due to their time away from home seeking help for their child. Oliver deserved more time out of his crate – and more time snuggling on the lap of someone that loves him. Oliver has been displaced – and this poor boy can feel the sting. Oliver is neutered, UTD on his medications, he is housetrained (to a doggy door) and crate trained. Oliver has had the best start in life – can you help us give him the happiest ending? Oliver’s foster family is working hard at helping Oliver over this bump in the road – we are hoping we can find him a loving home that can continue showing him that while this new life may be different than he knew it – it can be JUST AS GOOD!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Warsaw Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Warsaw, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Warsaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warsaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warsaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warsaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
