My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi- I'm Sunshine! I'm a beautiful short-hair buff/white feline. I am approx. 1-2 years young and I will be spayed, UTD on vaccinations and tested for FeLv prior to adoption. I have already been treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and I am of course housetrained/litterbox trained- I love the indoor life! I love to be petted, to sit with you, snuggle up with you, sleep next to you and to lounge in sunny windows. I am easy going, calm, gentle and very sweet and friendly. I will do best in a calm home that can share a lot of love and kindness with me.
To tell you a bit about my past-- I was turned in to a very, very high-kill shelter with my 5 kittens. The cage we were put in- I couldn't stand up in, We all slept in a dirty litterbox because we had no where else to move in the tiny, dirty cage and they didn't give us food or water. (They say cats NEVER make it out of this shelter alive...so we are very, very lucky!) After just a few short days I was scheduled to be killed- but thanks to the amazing people at A4A Rescue- my kittens and I were saved...literally just in time! Phew- we are so very lucky- and so very grateful too! I now live in a wonderful volunteer foster home at A4A Rescue while I wait to find my just right, forever home. I sure can't wait to meet you!
