My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Noel is a sweet terrier puppy that we expect will stay relatively small as an adult. Determing breed isn't always easy with a shelter rescue but the foster mom is guessing that she has one of these three breeds in her bloodline:

-Jack Russell Terrier,

-Miniature Pinscher or

-Chihuahua.

We definitely see 'Terrier' in her face!

Pulled from a county shelter & put into foster care on December 9th, Noel is hoping for a forever home before 2007 arrives.

Noel is full of life and hops around like popcorn. Besides pop, pop, popping, sheloves to be held & will snuggle down and go to sleep instantly when in the warm embrace of a nuturing human.

If awake, she will beg for you to pick her up. 'Pick me!', 'Pick me!' she says with her wriggly little body language (jumping on all fours, licking her lips and dog-smiling.)

Noel is healthy looking, just tiny. She seems good natured and is getting socialized by living with her foster family on a farm with children, an adult dog, horses and cats.

Noel is not shy and loves to explore the environment as long as you are there too. She'd rather be held than explore, but will be brave if you don't pick her up!!

Please note: Noel's adopter will need to be knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about how to housetrain a puppy. Housetraining puppies involves frequent trips outside by puppy AND person (on leash even in a fenced yard) with lots of praise &/or rewards. No puppies go potty indoors for spite. It's all up to the people to teach the puppy kindly & patiently where acceptable potty spots are.

The administrative contact for Noel is Erin. You can contact her at the following email address to ask questions or get an application. (* We ask all interested adopters to fill out applications because we want to make a good match on behalf of the people and the puppy. We appreciate your cooperation in this regard.)
