Aiden- Adopted's Story...
Aiden is absolutely adorable.
He's 5-6 months old, weighs about 14 pounds now, and should be 20-25 pounds full grown.
He is a beautiful deep red, and appears to be a finnish spitz mix, possibly with feist. He's very soft.
He came from a family with little kids that chased him around screaming at him, and no one really gave him any attention. As a result, he's very timid at first, and he does not like little children.
He warms up to new people pretty quickly, but it takes him about a day or two to really show his true colors in a new environment.
He's very, very sweet. He loves to be held and cuddled, and would make an excellent lap dog. He is also starting to show that he's playful, so as he gets more comfortable, he'll probably get more playful.
He is crate trained, he feels safe in a crate, but we're still evaulating him on housetraining, they didn't pay any attention to him in his last home, so he probably needs a little work in that area.
He does get along with other dogs of all sizes, and after a day or so, starts to play with them.
He's fine with cats.
Really all he needs is some time in a loving home, and he'll get more outgoing by the day.
Aiden has a $200 adoption fee. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, dewormed, on hartgard and frontline, and will come with his collar/leash, and a crate/blanket.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aiden- Adopted, a Nashville Finnish Spitz/Feist puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Finnish Spitz/Feist for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Finnish Spitz/Feist puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Finnish Spitz/Feist breeders who help with Finnish Spitz/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
