If you are looking for a great dog look no further, Ernie fits the bill! Ernie is a 5 year old shepherd mix. He has lived with his family since he was 11 weeks old, but unfortunately he is now looking for a new home. They had a baby 14 months ago and he has developed allergies to Ernie.
Ernie is settling into his foster home very nicely. He gets along great with other dogs and plays beautifully with them. He is also a very smart boy and knows lots of commands like sit, stay, down, off and will even shake hands and speak! He is perfect in the house and is completely housebroken. Ernie is used to being left alone during the day and does not require a crate. He is calm and laid back inside, but loves to go outside to chase a ball or play with other dogs. Ernie is going to make someone a wonderful companion and friend for life!
