Harry's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Harry's Story...
Harry is a playful nearly six-month-old, 24-pound, mixed breed puppy. He is alert, affectionate, energetic and curious. He is very smart, attentive, obedient and very eager to please. He is up to date with shots and on heartworm prevention.

He loves playing with cat toys, stuffed toys, twigs in the yard, people, kids and other dogs. He is very enthusiastic about finding and playing with toys and tugging on a rope. He is fostered with an almost five-year-old girl, another dog and three cats. He is very interested in the cats and encourages them to play with him. He loves running and playing with the girl and is learning to obey her direction. He is just as content in a lap as he is curled up on a cat bed. He is crated trained and doing very well with potty-training.

Harry has a lot of potential to be a great family dog or possibly an agility dog. He likes to climb and can easily get over chain wire fences, so he needs a tall privacy fence or watchful eyes to make sure he hasn't escaped - looking for his people to play with him, of course.

. If you are looking for a great boy to add to your family there is a small adoption fee for him.
He must be maintained as an indoor dog and you must have vet references.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harry, a Savannah Basenji puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Basenji puppy from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji breeders who help with Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
