Hi- I'm JACK! Great to meet you! I'm one of the "Miraculous 8" group lucky enough to have been rescued by the good people at A4A Rescue. I was living in tough conditions with 30+ cats and 20+ dogs in one house--- and no one was spayed/neutered or had any medical care-- not to mention I was covered with lice, fleas and I had worms. Yuck! We hardly ever had access to food or water, it was a very sad situation. And because of the lack of nutrition (or lack of food at all I should say!) and the stress I was under- my hair started falling out. BUT...the happy ending is that I was rescued by A4A Rescue- along with 7 others- many of whom were blind due to lack of treatment for year and years of untreated eye infections. I ended up losing one of my eyes by the time I came to A4A- and have since had surgery to patch this up. I do have full eye sight with my on remaining good eye, however, and no further special treatment should be needed now that I've had my surgery. I'm happy, healthy- and in the process of letting my black and white hair grow back. I will be a short to medium hair kitty once my hairs all back in.
(Note: A4A helped find rescue for ALL other pets in our situation too- with other rescue groups in the mid-west-- so everyone is safe now!). My beautiful, black/white short hair is growing back very nicely now (b/c I'm not stressed at all and I get LOTS of good nutrition, vet care and love/attention in my A4A foster home). I LOVE, love, love to play and I am full of personality and love. I like dogs and other cats- I really like every one who is kind. I'm full of personality and spunk. I would love to be adopted into a home that has at least 1 other cat to play with. I like to be petted and sit with you too- I am so affectionate. I am approx. 8 months young as of July 1 (2011). I am now neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested negative for both FIV and FeLv and I am housetrained/litterbox trained. I am very neat and tidy! I love the indoor life too! I have also been treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas, worms, lice and heart worm- and I am totally healthy now!
I'm ready to find my forever home and love you forever! I sure can't wait to meet you!
