Leela's Story...
***This kitten is located in Henrico County, near Short Pump, DOB 3/14/11*** My name is Leela, I am a Lynx point mixed cream color female siamese. I came into the pound with my siblings. I love to run and chase them around the room. I am very sweet and playful. I love to play with the feather wand. I am looking for a loving family to take me in and give me a stable and loving environment. I have been moved around so much since I came into the pound, I also got separated from my sibling, but now I am back with her, I am happy to see her again. My sibling Taylor is still looking for a home, too. The Lynx point color came from an accidental breeding years ago between a pet Tabby and a purebreed Siamese. The kittens inherited the deep blue eyes of a Siamese and the stripes of a tiger, and a snowy white body similar to the Siberian Tiger. They are amazing and unique Siamese cats with their tiger striped points, ivory bodies and vivid blue eyes. Traditional Lynx point Siamese are known for their longevity, good health and can live for 15-25 years. They are a very robust and sturdy cat. Their fur is very short and hardly ever sheds and is so very soft. Traditional Lynx point Siamese have a strong emotional bond to their human person. If you are interested in Leela, please contact

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leela, a Richmond Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
