Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Depot (they say because animal control picked me up on the street Air Depot) and I am a good sized VERY sweet funny and happy beagle type guy! I was at a shelter and they were going to find me a new home but unfortunately I tested positive for heartworms... yuck. So OKBR came and got me and treated me for the heartworms and I am just fine! Other than needing a home I am the best!
I get along with kids, cats, other dogs and YOU!! especially YOU... I am sooo housebroken and SOOO well mannered you would not believe it! COME SEE ME!
UPDATE: I'm in a foster home! They have had me since just before Christmas and they say I am doing great. Not a single accident in my foster family's house or any of the houses I've been in to visit, I completely ignore the kitty, and I play great with my doggy foster brother. My foster parents have me crate trained (though you might have to bribe me with a treat sometimes to get me to go in) and I stay there during the day when they are at work. I love love LOVE to play with stuffed toys, and I like to snuggle and go for walks around the neighborhood. And I haven't tried to escape from the chain-link fenced yard at all, or even to jump over the baby gate foster mom puts up to keep us out of the cat food! Less than a week after I came to stay with them my foster parents took all of us pets in the car for 8 hours to see foster mom's family for Christmas. I rode great in the car - just curled up in the backseat and went to sleep - and all of her family loved me! (And fed me a lot of turkey - yay!) My only flaw is that just a very few times I have growled and acted like I wanted to protect a favorite toy or bed when meeting strange new dogs or when strangers come into my foster family's house, but foster mom doesn't let me get away with being cranky and I listen to her right away and settle down. She says there is not a mean bone in my body! And I am definitely not a food-guarding kind of dog. Just a food-EATING kind of dog! My foster family says that I am so adorable, and make them laugh every day with my toys and my short little legs.
