Sebastian's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sebastian's Story...
Sebastian is an adorable 2 year old border collie male, weighing 30-35 lbs.

He is sporting the summer shaved haircut look due to his neglectful previous owners who never brushed him and he was severely matted. We made him feel all better -- but his coat will grow back more gorgeous than ever in no time! His coat will be about 6-7 inches long and very fluffy and handsome.

He is a complete sweetheart, loves other dogs and children, and gets very attached to his family and is very loyal. He can be nervous in new surroundings but warms up very quickly and will be your best pal within a matter of hours! His foster family is absolutely in love with him and he will capture your heart immediately! He is a VERY good boy!!!

He is housebroken, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. Adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com and can be emailed to Nicole at nswick@gmail.com. adoption fee of $275 covers all vetting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a Plainfield Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
