My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady's story is not the usual one for most dogs that come to Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland. She is not a failed hunting dog. Lady had a good, loving home but her human became unable to take care of herself and was placed into a nursing home. Her family didn't want Lady and sent her (and her two cat siblings) to a kill shelter.
Lady, through no fault of her own, not only lost her good home, but she was separated from her loving mother. The shelter contacted Beagle Rescue and we agreed she should have a chance at another loving home.
Lady is a little overweight, is a little confused but is very sweet, free with her kisses and snuggles and is doing her best to to take what life has given her. Her foster mom will help her regain her svelte girlish figure, show her she's still loved and together they'll find her a new wonderful forever home. Just let us know, Lady is interviewing now for her forever home.

Adoptive Status: Is spayed, UTD on shots and will be micro-chipped prior to adoption.
Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love her.
Owner Aptitude Level: Beginner.
