Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blaze was born in rescue on April 3, 2011 to Daisy. Daisy was rescued from the Chilton County Humane Society just before she gave birth. Poor Daisy is heartworm positive but has been an excellent mother to her babies.
Blaze is 12 weeks of age (as of June 24th). She loves her kitty cats but sometimes plays a bit too rough. It is definitely all play. She is in a foster home with adult shepherds and while she can be a bit annoying to them has learned to play well with them all. She is crate trained, nearly housetrained, spayed, current on shots and heartworm prevention.
Blaze is energetic and would love a home with another dog or with children to help her expend some of that puppy energy. She is in the puppy chewing stage so will need a home that can properely supervise her. Blaze prefers the indoors, due to this Alabama heat. She loves her toys and loves to play fetch and chase.
Blaze's adoption fee is $250. That is a donation toward her mothers heartworm treatment. GSRCA will consider reducing that fee for the perfect home.
