Ringo's Story...
Ringo was born in rescue on April 3, 2011 to Daisy, a pure-bred German Shepherd Dog. Daisy was rescued from the Chilton Co Humane Society just before giving birth. We are not sure who the father was so the secondary breed of Walker hound is meerly a guess.

Ringo has been raised lovingly and socialized with people. He is neutered, current on shots and current on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $250, however that can be negotiated for the perfect home. To apply for Ringo, please submit and application online at http://members.petfinder.org/~AL80/application2.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ringo, a Pike Road German Shepherd Dog/Treeing Walker Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Pike Road, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Treeing Walker Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Pike Road.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pike Road already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pike Road breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pike Road paves the way for another one to be saved.
