Here's what the humans have to say about me:
King's owners were victims of the April 27th Tuscaloosa tornado. They lost everything. While they and King survived, they did not feel equipped to provide for him so surrendered him to the local shelter. The shelter started filling up with dogs and cats displaced by the storm and called us to help out.
King is reported to be 15 months old. He weighs about 70 pounds and still has some filling out to do. KIng is great with people, including children and rides very well in a car. His foster parents crate him at night and he will let them know if he needs to go out to potty.
King probably had never been socialized with other dogs in his former home. We are working with him on this. At this time we believe he would do best in a home where he is the only dog. More will be posted about King as we learn about him in foster care.
