HANK's Story...
Currently, this dog is NOT at the RAS, he is in a foster home.
Foster family needs to find a home for this puppy without having to turn him into the shelter. Information about Hank is provided by foster family. If you wish to see him please send an email with your name, city and contact telephone number so we can call you to arrange a meet'n greet. Or call ACOs (Animal Control Officers) at Romulus Animal Shelter 734 942-7591.

Male brindle boxer-mix puppy Hank is about 6 months old, housebroken and crate trained. He's very sweet and loving, as well as very playful. He needs a good home with someone who will play with him and give him the exercise he needs. He loves being petted, and hates the rain.

Foster family's report when asked a few questions... "Hank lives with a cat and dog in the house and gets along with them both. He's strong and a bit clumsy being a pup, and has not been around smaller children. He's a very loving dog, but I think he would be better with older kids until he's had some training. He hasn't had any shots that I know about."

Hank is looking for his fur-ever home, please consider giving him a second chance. Thanks for reading and any help you can offer Hank!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HANK, a Romulus Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Romulus, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Romulus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Romulus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Romulus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Romulus paves the way for another one to be saved.
