I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
This sweet little lady was more than likely someone's pet who was discarded into a local feral colony a year ago. The colony's caretaker had her spayed & cared for her until recently when the colony had to be moved. Because Maggie had such a wonderful personality, she was brought to our sanctuary in hopes of finding a home. Don't let her ear fool she is no 'feral' fighter. Her ear was clipped by the vet who spayed her, which is a very common practice in feral colony caretaking. She is a talkative girl who just wants someone to let her sit on their lap & tell her how pretty she is. She gets along well with friendly cats and really likes her buddy Mandela. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, dewormed, treated for fleas, tested for FeLV/FIV, microchipped and get 30 days of pet insurance free when they are adopted! OUR MISSION
Heaven on Earth Society for Animals was founded in 2000 to address the tragic plight of homeless animals—strays and ferals who spend their lives fighting starvation, predators, disease and harsh weather while they continue to reproduce in exorbitant numbers. Our long-term goal is to implement community-wide spay/neuter programs, sustain an adoption program for rescued strays and provide long-term care for animals with low adoption potential due to medical conditions, disability, temperament or age. We presently operate a cage-free, no-kill sanctuary in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles County that serves as a haven for homeless special needs cats.
We are now showing our adoptable angels at the Petco in Van Nuys, CA from 12:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturdays!
