Calamity Jane (CJ)'s Story...
Calamity Jane is a very appropriate name for this little cutie pie. CJ is a young adult who's mother was a chiweenie (chihuahua/dachshund) and, it appears, her father was a toy fox terrier. CJ is full of personality; she loves affection and she loves to play. She will play with any and every dog she can convince to join in the game.

CJ is a very intelligent girl who's mind is always looking to be occupied. She will require lots of attention, affection, chew toys and patience. CJ is potty trained but will have an occasional accident if left alone too long or ignored. She is kennel trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calamity Jane (CJ), a San Angelo Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua for sale in San Angelo, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Angelo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Angelo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Angelo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Angelo paves the way for another one to be saved.
