Rosita's Story...
Hi! I’m Rosita! I’m just a wee little Chihuahua who is looking for a forever home. I have had quite an adventurous life, for being only a few years old. I was found running the streets as a stray. Can you imagine? Little old me alone in the big world! Needless to say, my future didn’t look too good. But, I must have had a guardian angel watching over me because I was saved from danger. Now I’ve traveled to ARF where I am hanging out until my forever family comes along. Needless to say, I have won the hearts of the volunteers with my beauty and sweet personality. But, who wouldn't be smitten by such a personable little dog?

I love being at ARF, but I really would like a home of my own. I could use a little TLC, as my adventures have left me a bit thin and scared. It takes me just a few minutes– and maybe a few treats – to realize that people love me and will take good care of me. Once I know that I am safe, I love to be with my people and follow them everywhere. I’m just a quiet girl who loves the company of other little dogs. So, if you are looking for a little canine companion to add to your pack, might you consider adopting me? I would be forever grateful and return all of your love ten-fold! What do you say?

If you would like to make my drams come true and give me a forever home, please contact my adoption consultant, Lee, at 440-554-3828 or for more information. You can also come visit me at the shelter. Can’t wait to meet you!

** The adoption fee helps to cover the general veterinarian check-up, heartworm test, spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, rabies vaccination, worming, flea preventative, and microchip that all dogs adopted through Berea ARF receive prior to going into their new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosita, a Berea Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Berea, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
