Anastasia's Story...
Anastasia is a beautiful, sweet bunny girl. She was born in January 2011. She was spayed 9-21-11. She has a lot of baby bunny curiosity. Within the first few hours of being in her foster home she was exploring all over, climbing into the hay bag seeking extra munchies, binkying and flopping down for quick naps. Ana loves to have her little pink nose pet and her ears softly stroked. She does not like to be picked up, which is typical for rabbits. Ana will give bunny kisses and gladly lay next to you for long petting sessions. She begs for soft nose petting and is extremely bouncy at playtime. Her youthful enthusiasm takes on an adorable puppy like quality when she runs in circles to chase her own tail!
Anastasia is a foster bunny of West Michigan Critter Haven. Her adoption fee is $60 which includes her spay and life long house rabbit education and support. For more information on adopting Ana please contact us at info@wmicritterhaven.org. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anastasia, a Grand Rapids Californian was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Californian for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Californian from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Californian breeders who help with Californian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
