Parker's Story...
Parker is a handsome, sweet, fun and friendly, 33-pound, 18-month-old, male, Beagle looking for a loving guardian. Parker was living with a couple in their 80’s. While Parker is gentle and loves people of all ages, he still was too strong on leash for them. Parker loves to play with squeaky toys and is full of tail wags and kisses for everyone. This nice boy is housebroken, crate-trained, good with dogs and cats. While he’s fine with other animals, his true love is people. He is good in the car, good (but strong) on leash. Parker is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt him, please e-mail Carol at or call 773-772-9329. His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of We Luv Paws Rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parker, a Chicago Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
