Allie's Story...
There is one thing you can say about me- and that is CUTE! I am a 7 week old Spaniel/Labrador Mix puppy and what a joy I am to be around. I have so much puppy personality it’s coming out my ears! So I am sure you’re wondering what an adorable baby like myself is doing without a home? I sure don’t know you tell me! I am looking to solve that problem by finding a wonderful family committed to raising and training a youngster- maybe that’s you? My adoption fee is $250 and includes; current shots, reduced cost spay and $25 spay rebate, 5 week training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam (in the SE Portland/Milwaukie area only), leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Allie, a Portland Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
