My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy is a too cute for words, long hair red dachshund girl that found her self homeless after her family could no longer care for her. She is a petite girl weighing in at a whopping 8 pds. Missy is a total cuddle bug/lap dog and she really HATES for her feet to touch the ground. This sweet girl would love a home that would full fill her wish of sleeping in the big bed and being spoiled beyond measure. She has a wobble in her walk and the Vet says after xrays and a thorough exam that she can find no reason for it, we have had her checked out and are chalking it up to bad breeding. Missy loves to play with toys & her foster sister, she is doggie door trained, current on vaccinations, spayed & heartworm negative. She will need a home with out kids so that her furever human can concentrate solely on her needs. If you can give Missy the type of home that she so deservingly needs, please fill out an application at almosthomerescue.org. Her adoption fee is 200.00. Application & home visit are required.
