Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kesha is our beautiful and fun-loving 7-8 year old Hound mix that is available for adoption. She enjoys going for hikes/walks with our staff and volunteers and is one of our best Jog-A-Dog running dogs. Through this program, she gets to go for trail or road runs with volunteers during the day. Kesha has even marched in a 4th of July parade and loved it!!!
Kesha is a beautiful girl, and she just needs a home that will keep her active and happy. She has been tested around other dogs, and she is an assertive/dominant female that has only been accepting of one submissive male dog. All other dogs she has tried to dominate and snap at. She needs a home without cats or young children under 12.
She has always been awesome around our teenage junior volunteers and adult volunteers. She absolutely loves all the attention and exercise she gets with everyone. Kesha has always responded well to training and handling, and knows how to sit, lay down and give paw/shake.
Kesha has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for Heartworm and lyme disease. She had ear infections that were treated, and the tips of ears were removed through surgery when they failed to heal properly. This funny ear look gives her some extra character...and we hope does not deter anyone from how beautiful and amazing Kesha truly is. If you are interested in finding out more about her, please contact us or stop by and ask to meet her in person.
