Bosco's Story...
Boscoe is as cute as they come and very kid friendly. He was led around pet adption by sevreral 7 and 9 year olds. he was happy to be with other dogs , yet very attentive to people. He is energetic at this stage and needs a fenced in yard or a home with daily romps in the yard. He's a young teenager so he will settle down . In addition the cage he is in , in the shelter is quite small and they never get out to exercise , just not enough staff and few volunteers.
So, you might be a little happy too if you were penned up that long.
Please go see him at the LIncoln County Animal shelter at 650 John HOwell Memorial Drive in Lincolnton. 704 736 8517 .Please use her shelter ID number if you call it is 40705. Open 11 to 4 M-Saturday. Till 5:30 pm on Thursdays.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bosco, a Lincolnton Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pointer for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pointer dog from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pointer breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
