Geneva's Story...
FEATURED:
Geneva - she is a beautiful (pics do not do her justice) 11 month young kitten / cat. She was given to us becuase the owner did not know she got our once & came home pregnant months later. She was leaving the state & could not travel with them all so she turned them over to us. She had a beautiful litter of 2 black tabby twin kittens that are just weaned & will be ready for adoption in about 3 months. She was a great Momma that even took in 1 more abandoned baby & nursed him as her own. She is a medium, silky soft hair female. She is very sweet & loving. She loves her people & being around them. She needs to be spayed & can be declawed at that time if arrangements are made & you are responsible to pay for it......it costs $125.00 and can be paid directly to the clinic. Spaying is $40.00 if you wish to help.

Independent Cat & Kitten Rescue of Zephyrhills is seeking permanent, loving homes...if interested please email me & tell me about yourself.

I have had over 5 years experience working with rescues & in vet office and a lifetime working with animals. My family & I are now doing it on our own as an independent rescue. We make no money here but actually loose alot. We have had great successes with our adoptions and many stay in touch. We spend our money doing this to assure wonderful homes for them and not a life of disease or hardship on the streets or even that of a shelter or worse death. We offer taking in unwanted cats & finding them great homes. We have taken in a few more than normal & we are full...we need adoptions so that we can continue to help save others.

We have invested $300.00 minimal per animal for the procedures listed - 3 sets of shots -starting as a kitten & adults get 1 or 2, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip, tests, Feline Leukemia/AIDS test, wormings, flea treatments. We ask if you can assist us with these costs in full or partial is appreciated. Any amount offered helps us to help the next rescue.

We have an adoption form & microchip transfer form to be signed at the time of adoption. Health records also included for each cat / kitten.

Adoption fee is $80.00 each.

All animals have been in a home environment, around older kids, other cats & dogs. All animals are clear of worms, disease or cold before being around each other.

You must show proof of a lease agreement for pets or own your home.

You can make arrangements to help us with spaying, neutering & care of our feline friends. Donations of any kind are greatly appreciated.

Donations are always accepted & can be made directly to the clinic -Planned Pethood 813-779-7000......Account is # 1362

*******Please do not contact clinic about adoptions.......just email me & I will email back....or leave a number you can be reached......THANK YOU :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Geneva, a Franklin Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Franklin, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Franklin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
