I am housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Chester, a.k.a. Chester Cheetah, is a real entertainer in his foster home. He’s quite a character. He loves to play so much, he can make a toy out of anything. He also loves playing with the other kitties in his foster home, sometimes even after they are thru playing.
Chester was noticed by a PP volunteer at BARC when he was almost out of time. In addition to his entertaining personality, she noticed something strange about his back right paw. It is slightly deformed – extra bone growth in the back. It causes him absolutely no problems now and is not expected too but you do have to watch it to make sure he doesn’t injure it.
Chester lives and gets along with dogs and other kitties. He has been neutered, dewormed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, is current on vaccine, and flea-free.

Purr Paws Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3). We are a foster based rescue, meaning that we do not have a shelter. All of our cats and kittens live with their foster families until adoption. We are a no-kill rescue, meaning that we do not euthanize for space. Quality of life is important to us.
Purr Paws Rescue is always looking for new foster homes and volunteers to help with adoption days, transport, and the adoption center at Petsmart Cypress.
We hold adoptions on most Saturday's and Sunday's at Petsmart Cypress (Hwy 290 @ Spring-Cypress) from Noon to 4pm. For more information, please check out our website.
We have a $95 adoption fee which helps cover the costs of getting the cats and kittens to adoptable status. We do have an application, which can be filled out online on our website, and then a contract upon approval.
